Project details

What we need
  • Profile & page setup assessment of whether relevant information and fields are filled
  • Statistics on posts, engagement, and follower demographics
  • Evaluation of strengths and weaknesses as well as recommendations to improve
What we have in place
  • We currently have a part-time Social Media Manager, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have raw data that the SM Manager can provide, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,792 , allowing us to sustain general operations which has become a priority due to the financial impact caused by the pandemic.

With COVID-19, our organization has relied heavily on social media and email to conduct outreach, make event announcements, and fundraise. With our reliance on social media only continuing to grow, we want to make sure we are taking full advantage of all the tools available to us to reach as many or all of our community members and donors.

Our mission

Esperanza Community Housing Corporation is a social justice non-profit in South Central Los Angeles that achieves long-term, comprehensive community development. We recognize that Indigenous, Black, and Latino immigrant communities are disproportionately impacted by historical oppression, health disparities, disinvestment, and displacement. Therefore, we develop and preserve affordable housing; elevate health equity and access to care; mobilize for environmental justice; create and protect local economic opportunities; expand engagement in arts and culture; and advocate for policies protecting human rights. Esperanza works collaboratively to strengthen South Los Angeles. In all of our actions, Esperanza builds hope with the community.

Testimonials

It was a great experience working with Julie. Things went very smoothly and quickly. She has a lot of knowledge and experience in her field. She has a no nonsense approach which we truly appreciated. We are very fortunate that she shared her expertise with us. We have learned a lot in such a short time and plan to utilize all her recommendations.

Social Media Audit Project

I truly enjoyed working with the team at Esperanza Community Housing Corporation. Their work is so vital among the BIPOC community and I'm thankful that I had the opportunity to apply my social media strategy experience to help with their digital presence. Thank you to John for his partnership and Ivy for the opportunity.
