What we need
  • 3-5 one hour strategy sessions with a change management professional covering topics like identifying key positions and successors, transition timelines, and action planning for developing existing staff for leadership roles
  • Coaching on how to engage senior leaders and key funders, and strategies for gaining the commitment of board members and staff to manage a planned or an unexpected transition intentionally
Additional details

I am hoping to begin succession planning moving from the Founder/CEO to continuing to be the Ambassador of the organization. I need help understanding and writing my job description and wish to get ready for this transition in the next year by finding a proper candidate. Goal is to have replacement CEO by 2021. I am 20 years into my leadership role. I am a CNN hero and wish to expand influence and get out of operational oversight.

What we have in place
  • We currently have Myself and chairman, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have An executive leadership team in place, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,198 , allowing us to Save money for operating budget. I am an unpaid CEO by choice since I am the founder. It will take a lot of money to replace me so it is a line item on our budget.

I believe if I can find the right replacement for myself, I can grow my influence and help more with fund development. I will have time to vision which will help grow the organizational goals. I would serve as the Chairman of the Board not the CEO. We have agreed to this at the board level. We just need to put the foot on the pedal and start moving toward this goal.
